Two new workshops are being offered on June 6th that are designed to help building maintenance crew leaders plan and complete assigned projects, and to maximize their team leadership skills. The workshops are being taught by skilled construction project managers. Participants can attend one ($199), or both ($349), of the workshops.
Fundamentals of Crew Leadership, 8:00am-Noon
Participants attending this workshop will focus on four primary areas of leadership – Basic Leadership and Leadership Styles, Communications, Delegating, and Problem Solving. Delivered by an experienced construction project manager and based on the nationally recognized NCCER construction curricula, this workshop will help new crew leaders become effective leaders, and current crew leaders to refresh their leadership styles and skills.
Project Management for Crew Leaders, 1-5pm
There are many components to project management…Project Planning, Scheduling, Estimating, Coordinating, People; Equipment; Safety and more. Participants in this workshop will be given the knowledge and techniques they will need to safely and efficiently manage both large and small projects. Role playing and plenty of time for questions and answers will help participants understand real world leadership situations.
